Llanhenock Lodge are very keen for their residents to engage in fun social activity. This type of activity has been delivered in the past which was well received and thoroughly enjoyed by participants. Volunteers could deliver sessions/events which could include sports themes, games activities, quizzes, horse racing videos gambling (not money) etc. It is also the 100th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Leonard Cheshire and a vintage tea party would also be welcome.
Clothing to wear: Smart casual or appropriate theme costume.
Materials: Llanhennock Lodge have a dedicated Activities co-ordinator who can support the planning, delivery etc. The facility have some materials but volunteers may have to provide their own. The volunteers are also encouraged to be creative.
Parking limited around the project so shared cars vehicles would be more appropriate.
Each event would need about 10 volunteers to support to a maximum of 30 volunteers if all activities delivered.
