Tonight Julian Rouse will discuss the work of Bill Brandt (1904-1983)
Bill Brandt was a British photographer and photojournalist. Born and brought up in Germany (which he vehemently denied) he moved to England in his 20’s where he became known for his images of British society. His photography was artistic, sometimes surrealistic, and covered documentary, street, portrait and landscape genres.
