360Giving Data Surgery - Spreadsheets 101

At 360Giving, we run monthly Data Surgeries to help funders feel more confident with data.

It can be hard to find time to develop new skills, especially when you have a busy role and data isn’t central to your work. Data Surgeries give you that time, and a safe environment to work on data problems and learn together with your peers. They are designed to help people who work in funding organisations solve real-life problems that can come up when working with data.

In this workshop we will boost your spreadsheets skills! We will teach you some whizzy functions in Google Spreadsheets and explain how it can make data analysis much easier.

In two hours we will cover:

• What is Google Sheets and what you can and can’t do with it.
• How to use Google Sheets functions.
• Advanced features in Google Sheets.
