The speed of change, combined with changing customer requirements, is impacting the way in which banking services are structured, delivered and consumed, while the regulatory landscape is evolving in order to keep up with new regulatory transparency requirements globally, which also include anti-money laundering and anti-bribery obligations.

A strong legal partner is of paramount importance to ensure the success of banking sector on the whole, and bank/fintech partnerships in particular. Some of the issues addressed include:

It is no secret that the Banking and Legal sectors have been the most stubborn when it comes to change, particularly in adopting new technologies. This represents a phenomenal opportunity for technology-based solutions, which ultimately will result in benefits for all parties involved. Some of the areas we will explore include:

▪ RegTech: How technology reduces complexity in keeping up with regulatory changes.
▪ Contract Management: How to improve efficiency and reduce cost by automating contract management.
