🕓 16:00 – 17:30

📍 Seminar Room 1, Oxford Department of International Development (Queen Elizabeth House)

The Al-Jazarī Lecture series, hosted by the Technology and Industrialisation for Development (TIDE) Centre, celebrates innovation from diverse global perspectives. Named after Ismail al-Jazarī, the 12th-century Muslim polymath whose mechanical ingenuity prefigured modern automation, the series highlights visionary thinkers redefining how technology can serve society.

Previous lecturers, including Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar and Professor Keun Lee, have offered rich insights into the intersections of industrial policy, innovation, and inclusive development.

Join us as we continue this important dialogue at the intersection of technology, governance, and global development.
