3rd Annual Public Health PhD Symposium

The 3rd annual Public Health PhD symposium will take place on Friday 14th July 2017 with pre-conference workshops on Thursday 13th July.
The aim of the symposium is to bring together postgraduate public health researchers from around the world to present, share, and discuss their projects. The theme of the symposium is broadly public health and we welcome abstracts on all related topics including: substance use, sexual health, physical activity and nutrition, violence, environment and sustainability, inequalities and wellbeing, international public health and innovative methods in health and research.

The conference will be preceded by free workshops on: systematic review, participatory methods, writing a journal article and preparing for viva. Please select your workshop preferences when registering on Eventbrite (please chose a maximum of two workshops when registering: one methods based workshop (systematic review or participatory methods) and one personal development workshop (viva or writing for publication)).
The conference is free of charge. Registration is open to any postgraduate researchers in public health and wider related fields, including European and international researchers.
We welcome abstracts for both poster presentations and oral presentations. The deadline for abstract submission is Wednesday 31st May. Abstract submission is available via the symposium website:
