Addressing youth crime issues that are prevalent throughout the UK
About this event
The issue of young people involved in crime and serious violence is not going away and is a major concern for many of our communities. This one-day Conference is part of a wider strategy that will be looking at addressing a wide spectrum of issues related to Youth Crime.
The purpose of this conference is to bring people together to hear about some of the excellent work that is happening locally as well as hear from leading national speakers on effective approaches to tackling this issue. The Conference will be of interest to schools, community groups, those working with young people, Police, Kirklees Council, NHS, KNH, and individuals interested in the topic.
We want this conference to help build relationships between those working in communities, schools, public sector agencies and others to ensure we find effective solutions. Young people attending will hear about some of the long term consequences of becoming involved in crime and violence. The Conference will consist of keynote speakers from throughout the UK, performances showcasing local talent and a free buffet with refreshments will be provided. Speakers and performers on the day will include:
