About this event

Welcome to ‘4 O’Clock Cake: RE-BAKED’

We believe the best connections happen over warm drinks and a slice of cake. That’s why we are relaunching our 4 O’Clock Cake Campaign.

4 O'Clock Cake is such an important event for Edward’s Trust, and it dates back to the very beginning of the charity. Back in the original Edward’s House, where we supported families who had children in Birmingham Children’s Hospital, cake at 4pm became a staple.

It gave our families a chance to come together with each other and do what they need to do, whether that be cry, scream or laugh, our staff were waiting with a freshly baked cake and pot of tea.

We will be holding our relaunch at Metchley Manor on Thursday the 18th September where we will chat about the history and importance of 4 O’Clock Cake, as well as the work that we do supporting bereaved families across the West Midlands, before tucking in to some delicious cakes, bakes and pastries.

Complementary cakes and pastries, as well as tea or coffee will be provided. This event is free for all to attend.
