This is the Eventbrite page for signing up for the 4 Peaks Challenge 2024.
An information sheet is available from andrew@downanddromore.org to help you consider things such as fitness, comfort and equipment before you sign up.
Cost: This will be £275-£300 (depending on accommodation costs) and cover 3 night's accommodation and return travel from Belfast.
Sign-up: Places will be allocated via this Eventbrite on a first-come basis and on receipt of a non-refundable £50 deposit. Details of how to pay this deposit via bank transfer will be provided in the registration confirmation message.
Itinerary: The trip will start from Belfast at 6:00pm on Thursday 20th June and travel to Scotland. We will climb Ben Nevis the next day, Scafell Pike and Snowdon on the Saturday and come home via Dublin port on Sunday 23rd June, climb Donard on the way home and get to Belfast around tea time.
Responsibility: We will organise the trip, guides, travel and accommodation and will also have a few first aiders going. However you are responsible for your own safety, self-care and personal insurance; and you'll be asked you to sign a disclaimer to this effect. You'll be provided with support and advice throughout but this is essentially a trip organised through the diocese for travel and accommodation purposes and where each individual is responsible for themselves. You’ll also be responsible for your own food, appropriate clothing and belongings but we’ll give you advice on this.
If you need any more information before you sign up then please contact Andrew on 07950 846621.
