Description

This 4-week mindfulness course will focus on how we can increase our compassion to ourselves - and if we are able to do this, what effect this could have on our relationships. So often we focus on meeting other people's needs, we forget to prioritise our own. After all, if we are physically or mentally struggling, how available can we really be for our close ones?

This is an introductory course around the area of compassion. I will offer different practices to help increase our compassion for ourselves, and for other people.

Any of the sessions can be attended on a drop-in basis, for £10 per session. The full course costs £30. Concessions and subsidised places available - please contact me on susie@pauseandbreathe.co.uk to discuss further.

The four weeks will be themed as follows:

Week 1 (28th Feb): What is compassion and why do we need it?

Week 2 (7th March): Looking at our emotional regulation systems - why we respond the way we do

Week 3 (14th March): Response to Threat: Unlearning the Automatic

Week 4 (21st March): Taking in the Good

The session starts at 7.30pm, but the invitation is to join us from 7pm for a hot drink first - vouchers for these are included in the price.
