Looking for Langston is a landmark of Black queer cinema – poetic, sensual and iconic. We are bringing it to Manchester for this special screening.

The film stars Ben Ellison, who passed 21 years ago from HIV-related illnesses.

After the screening, we will remember and celebrate Ben’s life with a discussion featuring:
💬 Esther Campbell – Ben’s sister, sharing her memories and her own experience of support from George House Trust in the 1990s.
💬 In conversation with Shelley King (actor, Coronation Street).

This Manchester story connects Black History Month with upcoming World AIDS Day – honouring creativity, acts of remembrance, and community.
