400 minutes of Festive Funn
So the last PK of the year is done...and what a night it was!
We've got an even better program of events coming next year...but more of that in 2012.
Before then there's some mulling to be done and a large serving of Festive Funn to be had...and what better 'imaginary' uber-tastic-office party night out could there be than a PKNSheff one!?
...on Tuesday the 20th
...we'll be meeting in The Great Gatsby at 6.40pm
...and then moving on to Cubanas at 2020hrs
it's simple, it'll be cheesey and they'll be Funn in biblical proportions!
So block out the last Tuesday before the big day...probably the Wednesday morning after too and get yourself on down!!
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT CHRISTMAS HEAD-GEAR* IS REQUIRED
*A Santa Hat at the very least, but if you want to get more creative than that...we'd whole heartedly encourage you!
Pecha Kucha Sheffield
...a business social that's more a night out...
...it'll get your heart skipping and your mind racing!
Pecha Kucha, meaning ‘chit chat’ in Japanese, is a global, viral phenomenon running in over 800 cities across the world. Sheffield became the 300th PK City on the Planet in April 2010 and has run 16 events at 14 different venues to date.
The evening is based around the 20x20 format, which was first started in Japan in 2003 by the architects Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham. Each presenter uses 20 slides, set to auto advance every 20 seconds to present their subject or showcase their work.
