Spotlight Career Advice Session: Monday 12th September 2022

Book in a one-on-one chat with Spotlight's Ellie Samuels where you can ask your questions via a video call or over the phone. Questions can be anything relating to the Spotlight membership, the industry in general, making the most of the profile or how and what steps to make next in your career - it is your time to talk about whatever you need to and we’ll share our knowledge and guidance with you.

Sessions are available to be booked by all current Spotlight Young Performer members or their parent/guardian.

The sessions can be specifically for the parent, the parent and young performer member or just the young performer member if they are 18+.

All career advice sessions for the foreseeable future will be held using Zoom and you will be able to join either via a video call or over the phone - whichever is your preference. When you book the session you will be asked to choose either of the above two options, and then instructions on how to join the call (via video or phone) will be sent to you just ahead of your session. Don’t worry if you change your mind - you will be given the details nearer the time of how to join your session by either method.

Please be aware that we have limited space on our Spotlight career advice 121 sessions. Therefore, members are limited to one session a year with one facilitator, this means that we can offer this service to as many members as possible.

You will need to provide your Spotlight profile link and your Spotlight registered email address to book this session.

Should you have any accessibility requirements such as BSL interpretation please email membership@spotlight with details as soon as you can.

Spotlight’s career advice sessions are advisory. Advice will only be given in areas relating to the career and professional development of the performer.

All decisions made and actions taken are the responsibility of the performer.

Spotlight’s career advice sessions are not a substitute for other forms of professional, consultative or mental health support such as counselling, therapy, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment.

Information shared within the session will be kept confidential and information will be managed in line with data protection laws.

You understand that ahead of the session, the individual running your session may review your Spotlight profile to help guide the session and ensure you gain the most value out of the allotted time.
