In light of surging COVID-19 infections and new restrictions, the forthcoming 47th Trends in Ophthalmology meeting will now be a one-day educational virtual event highlighting current trends and pearls rather than the planned two-day F2F one.

Challenging clinical cases will be provided by our nationally renowned Medical Eye Unit. There will also be updates on ‘trends’ in paediatric ophthalmology, corneal and cataract surgery and medical retina. 

The 8th Catherine Heatley Memorial Lecture will be given by the prize winner amongst the South London Ophthalmology trainee research submissions.

We hope to provide a recording of the meeting for attendees and those who register but are unable to attend on the day.
