We are delighted to invite you to the fourth and final Symposium of the £1.2 million New Economic Models and opportunities for digital Games (NEMOG)project on Monday 12th September 2016 at the Ron Cooke Hub, University of York.

Discover our achievements throughout the past three years in understanding the social, cultural and economic value that can be obtained from digital games and gameplay data, and the business models that underpin this value creation. We are also delighted to welcome a keynote speech from Dr Anders Drachen, a Data Scientist and Lead Game Analyst at gameanalytics.com, who is considered one of the world’s leading experts on using analytics to gain new insights from gameplay data. A lively panel discussion will explore new possibilities emerging from innovation in analytics and the business of the game industry. We will also talk about the large projects which will follow NEMOG, including the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Intelligent Games and Game Intelligence (IGGI) and the Digital Creativity Labs (DC Labs). The symposium will end with an opportunity to network over drinks and finger food with posters and demonstrations.

Games researchers, developers, designers and those involved in the business of games, or who see the potential for using games in their business, are likely to find both invests of great interest.
