Event description

Description

4x4 is a series of ‘TED-talk’ style events exploring the cities and urban places where we are increasingly choosing to build our lives. Held on four consecutive Wednesdays in May each event will feature four diverse and interesting speakers, followed by a lively audience debate.

This year our overall theme is "City of Change" and at this event we are exploring the topic of "Domination".

Speakers

1. Pooja Agrawal - Senior Project Officer for Regeneration at the Greater London Authority and co-founder of Public Practice, placing a new generation of planners within local government.

2. Suriya Nayak - Senior Lecturer, School of Health and Society at the University of Salford.

3. Donna Hall - Chief Executive at Wigan Council where she developed the Wigan Deal, a partnership approach to austerity with local residents.

4. Cat Lewis - Award winning Executive Producer and CEO who runs her own Manchester based independent production company.
