About this event

Qigong, or energy work, is one of the simplest, safest methods of taking gentle exercise that strengthens and relaxes the physical, mental and spiritual body. Once known as Daoyin, which means guiding and pulling, it is based on a knowledge of the 5 elements as they manifest through the seasons.

We'll be looking at the energies associated with these moves, aided by a chair, and considering the energy of autumn which is linked to the lungs and respiratory system.

All moves can be adapted for sitting.
