5 Week Beginners Jewellery Making Course

No experience neccesary - Suitable for total beginners :)


I’m so excited to share with you my 5 week Beginners Jewellery Making – night course! After lots of requests from my day students, this is now available to book.

Here’s a breakdown of what you will learn throughout the course, it will give you the skills and knowledge to create beautiful jewellery that you’ll be proud of!

Week 1 – Make an adjustable ring

Learn the art of reticulation to create a natural organic texture.

Week 2 – Make a gemstone pendant

Learn the basics of bezel setting, encapsulating the stone in a secure solid case.

Week 3 – Make a bangle

Learn how to cold solder gemstones / charms using fine wire work.

Week 4 – Make a gemstone ring

Learn how to attach a ring to a bezel. We will be using an ultra special druzy gemstone.

Week 5 – Make pearl earrings

By now you’ll be bezel setting queens and kings, this is an opportunity to use all of your skills learnt so far.. Creating the ultimate pair of earrings, using a combination of bezels and fine wire work.

Spaces are limited to 4 people only

Making sure that everyone gets the right amount of tuition.

I will guide you from start to finish in a positive, fun and relaxed environment.


All materials included, sterling silver, gemstones + pearls. You will have the opportunity to come back and rent a bench for the day if projects need a little more time.

You will keep all of the jewellery you make and will also receive a laminated booklet with step by step instructions. At the end of the course you will have 1 FREE pass to "rent a bench' for the day. 11am - 4pm on a date of your choice, to finish off any pieces that need extra time and / or practise independant learning :)

Please note, this course uses tools that may require dexterity and strength. Hair must be tied back, nothing dangly, glasses (if needed) and closed toe shoes are imperative.

How long is the course?

5 weeks from the 3rd June - Each Tuesday 6-9pm

What should I wear?

Please wear, sensible closed shoes and no loose clothing: things can get a little messy in a jewellery making environment and whilst apron’s are provided, it’s worth bearing in mind not to wear your very best clothes! Please make sure hair is tied back as we will be working with flames.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, attendees must be 18 years of age and above.

Where can I park?

There is FREE parking on Quay Hill all day, every day and FREE roadside parking on Commercial Road after certain hours. If spaces are not available there are 2 Cornwall Council Pay & Display Car parks close by. One behind the Job Centre on Commercial Road & Exchequer Quay

Is there disabled parking?

Disabled parking is available in Jubilee Wharf. This needs to be pre-booked, please may you let us know in advance.

Public transport?

Yes :) There is a regular train service running from Truro to Falmouth via Penryn, with 29 trains a day in each direction. There are regular buses that stop just outside Jubilee Wharf on Commercial Road, Penryn.

What if I don't finish my projects in time?

If your projects need a little bit of extra attention.. You are welcome to come back and rent a bench for a day of your choice 11am - 4pm. 1 session is included in your workshop free of charge.
