An open-air introductory workshop to Soil Ecology in a Nature Reserve with artist Miyuki Kasahara: Soil animal hunt & microscope observation

Nature Reserve TUMP 53 and Ecology Education Center, Water Lily Walk, London SE28 8AS

This session is a family friendly activity!

We will hunt for soil animals all around TUMP 53 Nature Reserve and then look at these small and micro organisms using microscopes! We will exam them and draw them together. We will find out about the history of fertiliser and pesticide, and how it is related to the TUMPs.

*All welcome but not suitable for under 3 years old. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.

*All participants can receive an artist made free booklet!

*The activity will follow recommended Covid-19 guidelines.

*Photos and filming will be taken, participants will be asked to fill in a consent form.
