50+ HangOuts - Creative Writing: Creating a character

About this session

Join us to take part in a friendly writing activity where we create a character for ourselves from our identities and lived experiences. This may be a character for a book, tv or film or an alter-ego or another identity you want to express that connects with you in an emotional or fun way. The character may be younger, older, human or an non-human, maybe with super-powers or not.

About 50+ HangOuts

A twice-monthly friendly and welcoming online social and support group for all older LGBTQ+ people aged 50 and over.

Our aim is to reduce isolation by creating a safe space to get to know each other through shared lived experiences, topic discussions and creative activities.

This online space is an opportunity to build community by coming together and connecting with one another in a safe and friendly non-judgmental space.

• We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month 6 - 8pm
• Please try to arrive 5 minutes early. The Zoom room closes at 6.10pm (this is so we can minimise any disruption).
