£500k Families Fund - 5 days and counting - Sport England Families Fund
Event Information
Description
Dear All,
Thank you for committing to attend the workshop to create the response to Sport England for their recent Families Fund release.
If you have time it would be very good to have looked over the prospectus for this fund:
and if you have 80 minutes it is worth viewing the video they have produced from workshops run earlier in the year:
https://www.sportengland.org/funding/families-fund/apply-to-our-families-fund/ - Immediately after WORKSHOPS on the webpage.
Both are very informative and define the priorities and the differences Sport England are desiring through this fund.
We have deliberately kept our meeting short and interactive. We will:
- Introduce Jemima Morris (recently worked for London Sport) who is supporting us with this bid;
- Talk (briefly) about the consortium approach YBF are developing;
- Introduce/review the Sport England Families Fund objectives;
- Work together to develop the content of the project we wish to deliver;
Because we are developing the actual content of the bid it is vital that we respect confidentiality within the session. ‘Chatham House Rules’ and confidentiality are very important so that we can all work towards the same goal with openness and trust.
Please come with an open mind, be prepared to share your knowledge and experiences AND wherever possible please bring evidence of the work and the outcomes/impacts of the work you have been doing to get inactive young people and families active (eg. those who have been running Sportivate funded programmes).
If you have any questions then please do give me a call before Tuesday.
Kind Regards
Bob
