If you have ever wanted to get involved in a 5KM or 10KM run, here is your chance. On Sunday 4th December at Greenwich Park, London, around 2000 "Santa's" are expected to take part, raising over £100,000! APARU is looking for volunteers to run and you can be part of this fantastic event with just a small registration fee (£20) and raising a minimum sponsorship of £100.
No previous experience is required and with a bit of training the 5km distance should easily be within your capabilites. The spirit of the event is "taking part" not "winning" so you can run, jog or walk - you decide!
Place are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. If places become sold out we encourage you to register on the waiting list. We may be able to get additional places or receive cancellations.
Once your slot with APARU has been confirmed we will be sending you a complete information pack including registration form for the run.
Registration for the run itself is processed by the organization "Do It For Charity". They will take your £20 registration fee and will also provide you with several fundraising tips as well as an individual fundraising website to help you meet your fundraising target of at least £100.
Proceeds of this event will be donated to APARU's current projects in Argentina:
