Done some beginners hand building and want to do more? This great new 5 week course helps you improve your techniques, develop your own projects as well as learn new stuff such as Devil's Work and Nerikomi. Stuck for ides? Try one of our project cards and put your own stamp on it.
A nice, relaxed course that allows you to take things at your own speed. Adults 18+ only.
• Over 4 weeks you will develop your own projects using already learnt techniques and introducing some new ones.
• Stuck for ideas? Use our projects to take you to the next level.
• The 5th week will be taken up with glazing all your work.
• After this course you would be able to take out a membership or even repeat the course and develop your skills futher.
Cost: £220 Prices include all materials and firings. No hidden extras. Everything you make will be fired.
Dates: Thursdays 6.45-9pm: October 16th, 23rd, November 6th & 13th + a glaze class on Thursday November 27th 6.45-9pm.
REFUNDS & DATE TRANSFERS: *Please note that if you cancel or request a date transfer 20 full working days (Monday to Friday) are required. After this period and before the course starts you will only get a 50% refund or transfer if someone else can be found to replace you. There are no refunds or transfers after the start of your course. Please note that all refunds are minus Eventbrite fees which are non-refundable. Cancellations may be subject to an admin fee of £50. Transfers are only possible to like for like courses and only if we have dates available.
Some classes are easier to miss than the others. If you do miss a session you may be able to do a catch up on a Saturday morning but please note that there is a charge of £60 for this. If you develop Covid, unfortunately we cannot make-up any classes free of charge.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS: If you have any medical conditions that may impede your learning such as back problems, problems with hands or knees, any sight issues or balance issues it's advisable that you let us know in advance, preferably before booking. Some conditions can make it difficult to do pottery. Where possible, we will try and accommodate you as long as we have information beforehand however some conditions may void our insurance.
PREGNANCY: Please let us know if you are pregnant as you may have to wear gloves for some classes.
If you are found to have withheld information regarding a medical condition or pregnancy that could impact your ability to learn and our ability to teach you, you may be asked to leave the course with no refund.
GROUP BOOKING: please note, groups of 4 or more people will need to give 25 working days notice for refunds. We are unable to offer transfers for group bookings.
