Join Siôn Jones for a friendly and supportive 6-week Beginners Yoga Course at Health Nuts, Stroud. Running Tuesday evenings from 23rd September to 28th October 2025, this course is ideal for complete beginners who want to feel stronger, more flexible, and more relaxed.
Each week focuses on a different theme—from yoga fundamentals and balance to mindful movement and home practice. You’ll learn foundational poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation tools that you can take into everyday life.
Expect a warm, welcoming environment with clear guidance, plenty of encouragement, and no pressure to be flexible or experienced. By the end of the course, you’ll feel more grounded, confident, and connected to your body and breath.

Not at all! This course is designed specifically for complete beginners. If you’ve never done yoga before, you’re in exactly the right place.
Please bring a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. We have plenty of yoga mats you can borrow but you're welcome to bring your own if you'd prefer. Optional: a blanket or cushion for extra comfort during relaxation.
The course takes place at Health Nuts, 26 Kendrick Street, Stroud, Gloucestershire, GL5 1AQ.
We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early to settle in and get comfortable before we begin at 7:30pm.
Yoga can often be adapted, but it’s important to check with your doctor first. Please let Siôn know about any injuries or conditions before the course begins so we can ensure your safety and comfort.
You’ll learn foundational yoga poses, breathing techniques, ways to relax your body and mind, and how to create a simple home practice. Each week focuses on a different theme, from balance and flexibility to mindfulness and core strength.
The course is led by Siôn Jones (BA, MA), a warm and experienced yoga and mindfulness teacher who’s been teaching for over 9 years. His accessible approach has helped hundreds of people feel more relaxed, strong, and connected.
