WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY FOR VOLUNTARY & COMMUNITY SECTOR ON 24th MAY 2023
Following the launch of the National Counter Terrorism Policing’s ‘Protect UK’ platform and App, we are pleased to be able to host a virtual awareness session for those in the voluntary sector. The session will be solely on the ‘Protect UK’ product and how you, as an organisation, can access it. It is intended to last approximately 1 hour.
When joining please ensure that on joining the event your name is clearly visible to the group.
When will the session take place?
• The session will take place on Wednesday 24th May from 12:00-1300
What are the objectives of the sessions?
• The objectives of these sessions are:
o To understand more about the ProtectUK Platform its uses and benefits
o To understand the benefits of undertaking the ACT e-Learning and how it can enhance your staff's awareness of countering terrorism
o To understand how the ProtectUK App (formerly ACT) will benefit your organisation in countering terrorism and developing your protective security and preparedness
o To understand how you can deploy the e-Learning and App across your organisation
Who is the target audience?
All organisations, small to large, wanting:
• to learn more about the ProtectUK eco-system (Website, e-Learning and App)
• to deploy the ProtectUK App and utilise the e-Learning
Who should attend the call?
• The session is open for all size of organisation
Who will support the call from CT Policing?
• The call will be supported by both the ProtectUK operational and technical team in order to ensure that all of your requirements are met.
• Your partners on the Lead Government Department Liaison team.
