The Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers of London Charity Fund are pleased to present this year’s Annual Concert.


Our purpose is to support the wider glass industry, the City and its specific appeals, Education and the less privileged in and around the City of London and beyond. Details: glass-sellers.co.uk/charity/

David Soo

Winner of the 2018 Glass Sellers Beethoven prize, Australian pianist David Soo has been the recipient of a number of prizes in Australia and the United Kingdom. David has performed in venues such as Australia House, Barbican Hall, La Plantation Concert Hall (China), and the Kuala Lumpur Convention and Exhibition Centre. David completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne, graduating with First Class Honours with Glenn Riddle. He subsequently completed a Master of Music and an Artist Diploma at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Distinction studying with Joan Havill. David’s studies are generously sponsored by the Mary Elizabeth McComas Scholarship, the Australian Music Foundation, youth Music Foundation Australia and Help Musicians UK.

Zhu Sun

Award-winning Chinese pianist Zhu Sun has performed throughout the United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong and in France. She has performed in notable venues including the Drapers’ and Apothecaries’ Hall, Milton Court Concert Hall, St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Goodenough College Great Hall (UK), Théâtre Municipale d’Epinal (France), and La Plantation Concert Hall (China) as a soloist, chamber musician and concerto soloist. Zhu completed her Bachelor of Music degree graduating with First Class Honours and is currently completing a Master of Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She is currently studying with Joan Havill. Zhu has been invited to perform Beethoven’s Third Concerto in the Goodenough College Great Hall in January 2020.
