6th International Integrity and Plagiarism Conference (6IIPC)
Save the date: 16-18 June 2014
The Sage Gateshead, Newcastle Gateshead, UK
Join us at the 6th International Integrity and Plagiarism Conference (6IIPC) on 16-18 June 2014 to showcase best practice in addressing plagiarism and promoting academic integrity through authentic assessment on the global stage. The conference offers a unique opportunity to share experiences with like-minded individuals from around the world for over two days of stimulating discussion on approaches to assessment, institutional thinking and enhancing the student experience through academic integrity.
Since its inception in 2004, the biennial IIPC conference has developed a reputation for attracting pioneering research in plagiarism and academic integrity from practitioners in education at all levels. Delegates attending the conference increasingly reflect the global scope of this topic, and previous conferences have attracted academics from the UK and Europe, US, Australia, Asia and the Middle East. In 2012 26 countries were represented at the conference and 15 presented their research making the event a truly international platform. Previous keynote speakers include key figures from the academic integrity community such as Tracey Bretag, Jude Carroll, Teddi Fishman, Don McCabe and Jonathan Zittrain.
The 2014 conference will take place at the impressive Sage Gateshead, designed by British architect Norman Forster, and without doubt one of the most iconic buildings on the NewcastleGateshead Quayside.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
