About this event

The course will run over 7 weeks from 3rd Sept to 15th October. The weekly sessions on Wednesdays are from 10am til 3pm.

The course is held in a beautiful woodland just outside Radford Semele and is aimed at people wanting to improve their mental and physical wellbeing through spending time in nature and personal reflection. It is particularly aimed at those struggling with mental health, feeling lonely / socially isolated or on an addiction recovery journey.Summer is a wonderful time to be in nature, learn and set intentions. You will spend time sharing around a fire circle, learning new ways to look at the world and your experiences, as well as connecting with nature around you. We provide a hot lunch each session along with hot and cold refreshments. The course location is near Radford Semele and we can provide a free taxi pick up and drop off from Leamington Station if you don't have your own transport.

The first week can be treated as a taster session, so if it does not suit you then there is no obligation to continue. To find out more please email Cat: cat@arccic.co.uk / 07739 020654

Spending time amongst trees and plants has many health and wellbeing benefits.

Being amongst green leaves has a calming effect on our bodies and minds. Research has shown that time in nature reduces our blood pressure, lowers stress and boosts our immune system. The benefits are even more significant when we get involved in outdoor activities with others. You start to feel more confident, less socially isolated and simply happier!
