7Artists+ present a free art exhibition by 10 local artists & designer makers as part of the Open Studios West Berks North Hants 2024 trail at Proteus Creation Space, Basingstoke.

This 7Artists+ 2024 exhibition collective brings together an exciting, eclectic & vibrant assortment of wearable, usable & decorative sculptural art pieces in textiles & paper alongside contemporary & traditional wall art, paintings & photographs. Artists will be on hand to discuss pieces if you wish.

Proteus Creation Space is a characterful old Victorian school building which provides a wonderful backdrop for our 7Artists+ exhibitions. With an on-site Coffee Shop selling delicious sweet treats, hot/ cold drinks & free on-site parking (please register your car at reception; paid parking close by), Proteus is a great location to get together, enjoy the exhibition & to meet local artists- please do come & join us. This free exhibition is suitable for & accessible to all, 7Artists+ OSWBNH 2024 artists & the Proteus Creation Space team look forward to welcoming you.

Exhibition Opening Hours: 10am-5pm Saturday 4th May to Sunday 12th May.

No, entry is free, & accessible, to all. You do not need to book a ticket.

Is this exhibition suitable for everyone & all ages?

Yes, the exhibition showcases art & design pieces from local artists who all have different styles & use a variety of mediums which provides an interesting display of works & ideas. All visitors can appreciate & be inspired by the wealth of creativity on display.

Is there parking close by?

Yes; free parking is available on site however, as the car park is monitored you must enter your car registration in the parking device in Proteus reception. Additional paid parking is available in Basingstoke town centre carparks
