What pace groups are available?

Typically we have three pace groups: a fast group running around 5:10 min/km, a medium running between 6:00–6:30 min/km, and a relaxed  group moving at about 7 min/km, perfect for a social, steady-paced run. Please check the agenda

Is the run suitable for beginners?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is suitable for beginners who can maintain a steady pace to stay with the group. If you’re unsure or prefer, you are welcome to arrive early and walk / jog the route at your own pace.

Do I need to register in advance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, registration through Eventbrite is required. This helps us manage numbers properly and ensures we have enough staff and pacers available to guide and support everyone throughout the event.

Question 4

Are there facilities to store personal belongings during the run?

Accepted Answer

We have a secure, locked storage space available during the run. However, belongings are left at your own risk. Please avoid bringing valuables. We recommend arriving ready to run with only essentials like coats, tracksuits or water bottle.

What should I bring or wear?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable running clothes and a good pair of running shoes. Please check the weather forecast and bring layers or waterproof gear if needed. For any advice, feel free to message us on Instagram at @limitlessgyms

Are there post-run activities or refreshments?

Accepted Answer

After the run, we encourage everyone to stay and connect. Grab a drink, share your wins, and chat with our team. Drinks available will be listed on the Eventbrite page. We also partner with other businesses for collaborative running events.

How long is the typical run?

Accepted Answer

Our main run is 5K. If you’re feeling strong, you’re welcome to continue and complete an extra loop with our 10K team. This gives you a chance to push yourself a little further with the support of the group.

Can I join the run if I’m under 18?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, at this time we can only accommodate runners who are 18 years or older. Please check back in future as we continue to grow and add new events and opportunities.

Question 9

Will you do longer runs?

Accepted Answer

We are looking into offering longer runs in the future. For now, the longest distance is 5K. If you’re interested in longer distances, let us know! Follow us on Instagram @limitlessgyms for updates and upcoming announcements.

Do you do runs during the week?

Accepted Answer

We are exploring the idea of adding weekday runs. If you would love to run with us during the week, please tell us! We are here to create Essex’s #1 running community and welcome your input to help us shape our future.
