(Please note – Abstract Submission is now closed)
The Centre’s Annual Symposium is a celebration of the wealth of excellence we have here in Oxford and the passion and commitment to cancer research that is shared across our community. The programme showcases the breadth of activity across the Centre and features cross-departmental or interdisciplinary partnerships supporting translational cancer research in Oxford.
The Symposium provides an opportunity for our members to network and often sparks new opportunities for partnership. It also provides a platform to highlight our younger scientists through poster competitions and presentations from Centre-funded students. The event is exclusive for Centre members only. If you are unsure if you're a member, or if you meet the criteria to be a Centre member, you can submit a request here.
The 7th Annual Symposium will feature poster sessions and Prize Talks showcasing the breadth and depth of the work taking place in Oxford, alongside 3 themed sessions which will showcase; Haematological Cancers, Early Detection and the Tumour Microenvironment. The event will close with a canapés and drinks networking reception - all attendees are welcome to attend. Guest speakers, Centre Committee members, and fellow Centre members will be in attendance at the networking session; this will give you an opportunity to network and build connections.
