Is the BIG DATA Conference changing its name?

Our event will always be called BIG DATA, CYBERSECURITY ... with the addition of a third item to represent the focus of each year. Last year, it was "critical infrastructure" and this year is "Artificial Intelligence"

Is this a hybrid event?

No. This is an in-person event only

Where is the conference taking place?

The conference is taking place at the Lindsay Stewart theatre (aka The Egg) at Edinburgh Napier University, Craiglockhart campus, the home of The Business School.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is parking available on campus for the conference delegates

Why is the conference not free any more?

One of the biggest costs is the catering for "no-shows". It is unfortunate, but people tend to not honour their free registrations and not cancelling them in time. This creates not only a cost but a sustainability problem: FOOD WASTE. To avoid this we charge a nominal fee.
