THE CONFERENCE
The 2017 programme has a demanding, interesting and var-ied agenda over the course of the day, with keynote speakers including the Rt. Hon. Ruhakana Rugunda, Uganda’s Prime Minister on topics such as Infrastructure, Power & Energy, Agri-business, Real Estate, Financial markets and Manufac-turing.

GOVERNMENT/INVESTOR CONSULTATIONS

FAQs

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, once registered your badge will be available for collection on the badge collection desks at the entrance of the venue.

 

How to get here:

By rail: Oh so simple. Troxy is 200 metres from Limehouse Station, which is on the DLR and the C2C line from Fenchurch Street Station to Essex. When arriving at Limehouse leave via the Bekesbourne Street exit. You can pick up the DLR line from Bank (Central/Circle/Northern and Waterloo & City lines), Tower Hill (Circle/District Line) and Canary Wharf (Jubilee Line) Limehouse is only two stops (6 minutes) from these three stations.

 

By bus: The following buses either go past Troxy or serve the local area.

No 15 (Trafalgar Square to Blackwall Station) No 115 (Aldgate to East Ham) No 135 (Old Street to Crossharbour) D3 (Bethnal Green to Cross Harbour) N15 (Trafalgar Square to Romford) N550 (Trafalgar Square to Canning Town) N551 (Trafalgar Square to Gallions Reach).

By car: We cannot tell a lie, Commercial Road is not a parking paradise. We have red lines, not yellow, so you’ll be clamped, ticketed or towed – all of which will ruin your night out. It is possible to drop off and pick up in Caroline Street down the side of the building.

 

Local streets have residents’ parking zones and we like our neighbours so would ask anyone looking for a parking space to respect them. There is a 24-hour car park next to Cineworld at West India Quay, run by Indigo Park Services. From there, you can get a taxi to us or catch the DLR at West India Quay (two stops).

 

The nearest hotel, the Holiday Inn Express at Limehouse, is just 300 metres away and has secure parking. We recommend booking in advance at justpark.com. You can take a chance and turn up on the day but you’re not guaranteed a space that way.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No, in order for you to gain access to the event the name given for your ticket/registration must match the person who is attending. You are, however, able to transfer your pass into someone else's name, see below.

 

Can I update my registration information?

If you would like to change any details for your badge please email info@ugandanconventionuk.org with this request.

 

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, your pass can be transfered into someone else's name as long as this is done more than 2 weeks in advance of the event. To do so please email info@ugandanconventionuk.org with this request.
