Our training courses are open to anyone in the College looking to boost skills and expertise in monitoring and evaluating Public Engagement.

Anyone planning to apply for ISSF3 Proof-of-Concept Public Engagement funding is required to attend our tailored monitoring and evaluating Public Engagement training designed to increase knowledge and review effective methods of monitoring and evaluating Public Engagement. The training will be delivered by the ISSF3 Public Engagement Officer, who is experienced in giving these courses.

Training will take place in various locations across the University and on different days to ensure easy access for applicants.

The monitoring and evaluating Public Engagement training will introduce a range of methods and frameworks to guide Public Engagement activities and evidence outcomes.

Learning Outcomes:
Understand why monitoring and evaluation is important in any engagement
Understand the differences in key terms for monitoring and evaluation
Identify the appropriate monitoring and evaluation techniques for engagement
Create an evaluation framework for their current or expected engagement activity.
