MBSR

Mindfulness biased stress reduction

8 week course starts Tuesday 24th April at 11pm

The course is 2h 30 min per week with 1 full day retreat (weekend).

Lunch and refreshments are provided

The MBSR program was devised by Jon Kabat-Zinn ,a leading psychologist and researcher at the centre for Mindfulness research in the University of Massachusetts. His aim was to bring mindfulness into the medical mainstream. In the context of your health, mindfulness is a way for you to learn to take better care of yourself by exploring and understanding the interplay of mind and body. This course also focuses on helping you to develop your own inner resources for coping, growing, and healing. MBSR can positively affect participants' ability to reduce the negative impact chronic pain and psychological distress while learning to live life more fully.
