'It’s not all about comedy': Improv and Acting in the Moment Workshop

Join us for this interactive workshop with actress and NYT Associate artist Lauren O’Rourke centred on how best to use and build your improvisation skills as a tool for performance.

Many people have a preconceived idea that improv is ‘saying something funny’ - we look to explore and dispel this myth and work on how improvisation can help the actor to be more in the moment. With activities focused on helping you get out of your own head and focus on what the other actor is giving you, this fun, light-hearted session will help you find out what happens when you really listen and react in the moment.
