About this event

  • 1 hour

Join us for this 60 minute virtual masterclass to challenge your thinking about belonging. In our DEIB training we develop your consciousness, confidence and competence to inspire and empower you to do things differently to ensure your workplace is truly inclusive.

In this Creating Belonging session we will:

  • Reflect on what gives us a sense of belonging
  • Explore our own relationships and journeys with belonging
  • Consider how we gather staff voice on belonging
  • Review the perception gap between stakeholder groups
  • Consider how to create a belonging culture and a belonging curriculum
  • Discuss the policies and practices that need to change to increase levels of belonging

Our target audience:

  • Teachers
  • Middle Leaders
  • School Leaders
  • Governors
  • Operations Staff
  • HR Leads

Our feedback:

The CPD sessions provided by Diverse Educators were well pitched, planned and delivered, provided much food for thought and will empower our staff to develop and embellish the EDI work that is already underway across the curriculum – it was excellent!

Headmaster, King Edward VI Handsworth Grammar School

I have now heard DEI from two different speakers and would whole-heartedly recommend. Through a non-threatening and informative approach they will carefully lead the staff through a thought-provoking journey of self-questioning and discovery.

Darren Antony Morgan, Headteacher
