Unfortunately, due to Government guidelines we are no longer able to hold the Really Wild Day at Jersey Zoo on Sunday 27th September 2020.
The Durrell Challenge 13K road race is still planned to go ahead that day for local runners only and will be a much smaller event operating in waves of 35 runners spaced at 30-minute intervals to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
The race will finish at Jersey Zoo, which will be open as usual for members and visitors. After the race, the zoo will come alive with wild activities around the grounds!
If you are a member, you are able to visit the zoo as usual. For non-members who already booked tickets for this event, you will be able to use your Eventbrite ticket to gain access to the zoo on Sunday 27th September or if you would prefer a refund, please let us know.

After the race, Jersey Zoo will be open to all for a family day out that lets you take a walk on the wild side! Head back to nature, kick off your shoes, and feel the grass between your toes. Enjoy food and drink within the beautiful grounds of the zoo. Let your little monkeys roam free and enjoy a variety of wild activities.
Wild Quest, sponsored by Appleby
Embrace your inner explorer and take part in Wild Quest, an exciting new adventure for children aged 10 and under, kindly sponsored by Appleby. Fancy dress is most definitely encouraged.
The Expedition
Your quest is to complete this fun but challenging expedition to help Durrell save wildlife and rewild the world.
There are six locations you need to visit to complete the Wild Quest. As you discover each site, you will receive a stamp in your booklet and a single letter that will add up to form a six-letter word, which you will need at the end to fulfil your expedition.
When you complete the expedition you will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a meet and greet with Henry Cavill*

Registration
Entry for Wild Quest is included with the Really Wild Day ticket for children under the age of 10. Click here to register for your tickets.
Buggies and accompanying parents are welcome to join, however no skateboards or bicycles are permitted inside the zoo grounds.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Wild Quest is included in entry to the Really Wild Day for children under 10-years-old.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking will be available at Jersey Zoo. However, there will be an overflow car park situated at the Royal Jersey Agriculture & Horticultural Society with a shuttle bus operating between there and the zoo.
