About our speaker
Angela is Chief Executive and co-founder of Edinburgh-based ThinkTank Maths Ltd., a mathematics innovation company based in Edinburgh with the objective to create game-changing results and solutions in the energy, financial services, space and defence sectors.
Her professional history lies in international technology commercialisation. She commercialised innovative CFC-free chemical solutions with the successful brand Waterlily Comfort Cushioning, and launched the Iomega Zip drive across Continental Europe. Since 2006 Angela has been on the Board of SIE (Scottish Institute for Enterprise).
She graduated from the University of Glasgow with MA Hons French and German Language and Literature, and gained a Post-Graduate in Business and Finance at L’Ecole de Commerce de Solvay, Brussels.
