A Beginner’s Guide to Wildlife Photography

This half day course will give you a basic understanding of how best to capture wildlife on camera. Your guide will talk you through composition, light, technique and using your equipment as you take in the wonderful surroundings of this magical nature reserve.

Please bring your own camera/equipment

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and note that there are no facilities on site.

What to bring/wear

This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! Sturdy footwear is always recommended. Snacks and plenty of fluids.

Meet at the main car park off Minskip Road

Parking

Parking is free for members of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. We ask non-members for a donation.

Wheelchair access

The reserve has good accessibility for wheelchairs and buggies. Disabled parking is available off Main Street, up the track by the village church, and you can access this with a Radar key. This is at the other end to the main car park and we will need to meet you somewhere, so please let us know if thisis the case.
