About this event

About This Tour

Take flight (on foot!) with Robin, the Bird That Never Flew, Glasgow’s cheeky, time-travelling guide. For centuries, Robin has perched, listened, and watched the city grow from sacred roots to industrial powerhouse… and now she’s ready to share her stories. Blending myth, memory, and plenty of Glaswegian gallusness, this immersive walking tour swoops through 850 years of history. From saints and queens to doctors, gypsies, artists and everyday folk, Robin shows how it’s always been the people who truly make Glasgow.

What to Expect:

✨ A storytelling journey with a twist: history told through the eyes (and banter!) of Glasgow’s legendary Bird That Never Flew.

✨ Encounter iconic Glasgow characters: saints and sinners, royals and rebels, and more.

✨ A celebration of the people: from Mungo’s miracles to Mary Queen of Scots, from groundbreaking doctors to Queen of the Gypsies, this is a tour that honours the spirit of Glaswegians past and present.
