We know he dearly loved the lassies-o, so we're sure the bard wouldn’t be averse to us having a wee gaithering on Zoom to celebrate him!  

Our 'Burns Nicht' is a women-only event; it will be a celebration not only of Burns but of women: participating and performing. Come along to listen and enjoy the evening and if you would like to take a more active role, even better!

We’re hoping that our performers will come from you, our guests. This means, in the true sense of a ceilidh, that some of our participants will do a wee turn to entertain us.  Could you give us a song?  Is there a poem you could recite? A reading you’d like to share with us?  Email Jocelyn at info@womenforindependence.org with your ideas and let’s make this happen!  

Although this event is intended to be a fundraiser, it is just as important to us to provide an opportunity for women to get together and enjoy themselves. For this reason, it's your decision how much you can contribute for your ticket.

Women for Independence events are open to all self-identifying women.
