Event description

Description

This workshop introduces participants to the LEGOⓇ Serious PlayⓇ materials and methodology and gives hands on opportunities to understand how it can be applied in a business setting.

LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is a facilitated meeting, communication and problem solving method that leads participants through a series of questions which go deeper and deeper. Each participant builds their own three-dimensional LEGO model using specially selected LEGO bricks in response to the facilitator’s questions. These 3D models become the basis for group discussion, knowledge sharing, problem solving and decision making.

In LEGO SERIOUS PLAY, the LEGO bricks are a common language that anyone can use, regardless of education, position or culture. This ensures everyone’s knowledge and insights are heard.

The starting focus in LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is on each individual, not the group. It involves everyone in the decision process, increasing the probability that all parties will buy into and honour the meeting’s decisions and agreements.

LEGO SERIOUS PLAY produces more concrete ideas and results, because everyone has time to build their answers before conversation and knowledge sharing begin.

LEGO SERIOUS PLAY ensures faster and better communication and understanding because it uses 3D visualisation, metaphors and stories which lead to fewer misunderstandings.

Meetings facilitated by LEGO SERIOUS PLAY stay on topic because the focus is on the bricks - not on the person. This allows intense discussion without creating personal conflicts.

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® maximises the full potential, insight, confidence and commitment of everyone around the table
