Imagine a time when the gentle rush of water powered the heart of a bustling valley, drawing people from all walks of life to its banks. The watermills here were more than just places of work—they were lively hubs of community. Very similar to the night of La Séthée d'Nièr Beurre where the community comes together to produce the Black Butter.
Join Sue as we ramble through the valley and hear the many stories connected to the watermills, which were owned by the crown, the Seigneur of the manor, or even ancient religious houses before the Reformation. Yet, these streams carry secrets beyond their historic mills: They once served as the Perquages, sacred paths. And in contrast, we shall hear several stories which may of been told on the evening of La Séthée d'Nièr Beurre
