About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Blenheim Farm is a BBOWT Community Nature Reserve, a peaceful haven, surrounded by hedgerows and scrubby woodlands where local volunteers help to manage its habitats for wildlife. The Millenium Wood is an area of relatively young woodland, having been with numerous rides.

We will wander the reserve and woods looking for their summer butterflies and day-flying moths. WE hope to find Marbled White and some Blues, amongst other wildlife.

Accessibility & risks: 0.5 mile walk to reserve. Gentle slopes, basic paths & kissing gates. Please check for ticks after the walk and let the leader know if you have picked up any ticks. (Tick advice)

Park in lay-by on B4022 at the bottom of hill in Charlbury, and take the footpath beside Blenheim Farm House for 1/2 mile. We will meet at the reserve entrance.
