A free evening, refreshments included, to persuade you of the merits of completing your anaesthetic training in London.

Applying for your ST3 Anaesthesia post can be daunting both from an administrative point of view and from the sense of impending increased responsibility! It also means committing to living in or near a particular area of the UK for the next 5 years.

If you are currently a core or ACCS anaesthetic trainee considering whether or not to make your application to London for ST3, please join us at this event in Bloomsbury. Enthusiastic trainees and trainers from across London will be there to present you with the reasons why they chose London for their anaesthetic training and careers, and showcase some of the world beating opportunities that London has to offer over other Deaneries in the UK. We'll also give you some practical advice on the application process, and on making London your home while you complete the next stage of training, including professional advice on financial planning.

There will then be free refreshments and the opportunity to network with the Heads of the London Academy, Training Program Directors and Regional Advisors, and find out more about the speciality modules available throughout the city.

Primarlily relevant to CT2s in the London Deanery, we also welcome any forward-planning CT1s, and trainees from other deaneries who are tempted to move to London for ST3.
