Ed Morton is currently Chair of the Institute of Structural Engineers CARE register (Conservation Accredited Register of Engineers). He will talk about the route to accreditation for both engineers and other construction professionals and explain why this is beneficial for your career. He’ll share some of his interesting projects, including recent work in Pakistan.

We can be sure of some lively and interesting discussion and practical advice on starting the journey to becoming accredited.Meet experts, ask questions and find out what it takes to succeed in this rewarding field.

We will also be discussing what a Professional Heritage Network could look like in Jersey. We will discuss membership, mentorship, routes to acreditation and what might be useful to potential members in service of protecting our island's heritage and our heritage bulidng skills.

This is an exciting and local opportunity to expand lifelong learning and to uncover your path to becoming a trusted conservation professional in Jersey.
