A Career in Publishing: Editorial (Drama & Performance)
Event Information
About this event
In this new event series, we'll interview some of Bloomsbury's most talented team members working in the industry right now.
Our host will attempt to cut to the heart of their role, their career so far, including what they wish they'd done differently. In turn, they've promised to respond honestly, warts and all, about what they love, and love to hate, about bringing new books to life. We will then switch to questions from you. What do you really want to know?
If you’re creative, driven and have a deep love of the written word, or you think you'd enjoy connecting readers with new and exciting ideas, publishing is miles better than any other creative career. Come and find out why publishing might be worth another look.
This session will feature a candid interview with Dom O'Hanlon, one of our immensely talented commissioning editors and a coordinator of Bloomsbury's diversity and inclusion network. Dom commissions authors and playwrights for Methuen Drama, one of the UK's oldest and most prestigious voices in drama publishing.
Ever wondered about the different jobs in publishing? This event is for you.
