Event description
A dinner to celebrate the wonderful invention of paper, and the people whom it would not have risen to such ubiquity without.

About this Event

This event celebrates the historic role of paper and especially the inventors, innovators and entrepreneurs of the last 700 years, who did most to make it a cornerstone of modern civilisation. The most significant of these is John Dickinson who, together with his network of Stationers' Company associates, led paper's industrial revolution in the early 19th century.

With keynote speaker, Simon Heffer, English historian, author, journalist and political commentator.

Arrival 6pm for 6:30 start. Dress code: lounge suits
