A Celebration Evening with The Archbishop of York
Date and time
A Celebration Evening Featuring The Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell.
About this event
Come to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for a real celebration evening hosted by the bishops of Blackburn Diocese and featuring an address from Archbishop Stephen Cottrell who will be talking about what Jesus means to him. The evening is open to all and will also include stories from the lives of various other people from the county as well as songs and hymns we hope everyone will be able to sing along to.
The tickets are free, and the first 200 car parking spaces will be free too, so why not grab some fish and chips, spend an afternoon at the seaside and then come to the Pleasure Beach for a celebration evening with an opportunity to hear from one of the most senior leaders in the Church of England about what ‘life in all it’s fullness’ might look like today.
Here’s a short video from the archbishop to give you a flavour of what he wants to say. We hope to see you there!
Door open at 6.30pm
We have reserved and paid for 200 car parking spaces on a first come first served basis, after that, other parking is available on site and close by.
Please think about sharing a car as it is the bank holiday weekend and we anticipate Blackpool to be busy.
